Berry Plastics Corporation (NYSE: BERY), one of the largest manufacturers of polypropylene or #5 plastic packaging in the United States, joins Preserve to accelerate awareness and participation in Preserve Gimme 5 — a consumer-powered recycling program that provides expanded recycling options for #5 plastics and empowers recyclers to drive systemic change in our country's recycling system.
As a prominent manufacturer of products made from #5 plastic, Berry Plastics joins other Preserve Gimme 5 partners Stonyfield, Brita, and Burt's Bees to support a closed loop recycling system in which recyclable packages and products are collected and turned into new products like Preserve® toothbrushes and razors.
